Review by hotel critic
The Old Cooperage by Staytor Accommodation offers a charming stay, ideal for families like mine. Nestled in a picturesque locale, we were thrilled to discover that canoeing is an available activity nearby. Watching my kids navigate the calm waters was a highlight of our trip. the property itself is well-organized and compact. We appreciated the flexibility in bed arrangements; our teenagers enjoyed having their own space with the option to configure singles or a king bed. It also came stocked with essentials, like dish washer tablets and bin bags, making our stay more convenient. Though we found a couple of mark rings left by liquid soap dispensers on surfaces, it didn’t detract from our overall experience. With a Coop and Tesco Express close by—ideal for quick snacks—plus various local eateries, we were never short of options. I can confidently say we'd consider returning for another family getaway!
